Loren johnson:My journey has be, then you know, marked by significant struggles, from battling opiate addiction that began at the age of 12 and facing the immense pain of losing my wife. These experiences have been deeply painful, but have also been the catalyst for my transformation into an advocate and motivational speaker Facing addiction and recovery. My addiction began with a concussion at a young age and was fueled by prescriptions and peer pressure throughout my life. The cycle of addiction continued after becoming a state trooper and worsened following multiple surgeries and traumatic brain injury from a car accident. Despite overdosing over 30 times and experiencing a coma, I found resilience through completing treatment court and becoming a certified peer specialist. Losing Chandler to the struggles we both faced was devastating. The loss deepened my commitment to raising awareness about addiction and suicide.
